Save the date for Ulysses Systems 2024 Chios Conference Event, 16 -18 October!
We can’t wait! Especially since after the Chios 2022 Conference many participants came up with desire for a repeat! The October ambiance of Chios town then, contributed hugely to the feel good atmosphere of the event and delighted everyone.
So here we are in 2024, in fast forward mode, anticipating our meeting with you in the luminous atmosphere of Chios.

The New Ulysses web based platform
We will be demonstrating the development speed and transparency of our solutions hosted by the new Ulysses web based platform. This means a unique platform that is the enterprise knowledge map, the data model and the code every maritime enterprise needs.

Traceable logic. The enterprise process map shows the logic of any propagation between attributes and processes. Traceable logic guarantees the explainability of algorithms, however complex, and is an essential part of ensuring clarity and predictability.
An enterprise map with proper risk related co-ordination. A marine domain goal model that reads like a map not only provides situational assessment of any part of the enterprise the client wishes to focus on. It also provides substantial decision support to the decision-makers by integrating emails and documents with enterprise processes in enterprise software.
About Chios
Now for a few words about Chios. We hope our friends, partners, prospects and blog readers will forgive us for repeating ourselves. Chios is indeed a legendary island whose history has repeatedly caught the imagination. It has hosted or been the cradle of saints, martyrs, heroes, intellectuals and traders, leading up to a very significant contribution to the world maritime community. Chios is not the only Greek island with such accomplishments. Nor the only island with illustrious sons and daughters. Nor the only source of a tradition that has nurtured the peoples of the Eastern Mediterranean and of the diaspora.
But there is something unique only to Chios:

The wondrous mastic tree with its crystal coloured tears and rich medicinal properties. As this may be less well known to members of our community, we have included a link to an article in National Geographical with the story of the μαστίχα, mastic tree.
