Crew Experience That Can Be Understood By Any System

A Ulysses Hellas and VesselMan Project

Crew experience that can be understood by any system is the second collaborative project between Ulysses Hellas and VesselMan. Thanks to the program “Business Innovation Greece” for “blue” growth and innovation we continue our excellent partnership with VesselMan. A reality that we deeply appreciate. In effect, the EEA Financial Mechanism supports our goal to provide best-of-breed solutions for enterprise technical projects.

Subsequently, businesses can look forward to a solution for optimised crew selections. It is a refined solution that will especially benefit technical, operations and crewing departments. Because the system picks up crew skills and experience indexed meaningfully against business goals in maintenance and drydocking.

What does ‘understood by any system’ mean?

Ulysses Hellas and VesselMan Crew Experience Solution is an essential differentiator in crewing solutions. It, crucially, bypasses system specific taxonomies and therefore provides crew experience that can be understood by any system. This solves an essential problem for shipping enterprises. Namely, that all crews, depending on their employment, commit information and records to different software systems in different companies. And this valuable information is rigidly organized, which makes this data difficult to import in another system. Therefore, crew experience ‘understood by any system’ overcomes the rigidity of committing and retrieving this valuable information.

Planned maintenance integrations with technical projects

Crew experience complements the planned maintenance integrations with technical projects already on offer by Ulysses Hellas and VesselMan. As a result, the marine enterprise will profit from added cost-efficiency in terms of optimised manning and ship operational performance.
