Seafarer’s Day offers a perfect opportunity to reflect on the human factor that keeps any industry together. Those of us who have or have had fathers, husbands, brothers, sons and daughters as seafarers know what it is to wait to hear from them, or waiting for them to come home. And there is the other side too, THEIR side, harder than ours.
