Meet Sarita Sawant, ΙS Administrator @ Ulysses Systems, Mumbai, our largest office.
We are extremely proud of Sarita because she excels in the domain of systems administration, where men are legion. She has stuck with Ulysses Systems for 12 years already, and likes us and cares about us, ready to save the day especially when we are stranded abroad ruining the company with roaming rates…
Contrary to typical system admin spirit, Sarita is very patient and doesn’t swear under her breath, an accomplishment for which Server Admins are ready to award prizes… She seems undaunted by bad-tempered or frustrated company members and System Admin predicaments, such as: bad logins; INITIALISATION_FAILED; Look for error online; Why can’t you see me on VPN? I hate this firewall; Heatwave… Server Room in danger @2.00 a.m. (Sarita’s home is hours away from the Server Room…) She even enjoys weird things like: IP addresses, DNS Server, TCP vs UDP and other such topics…
She has a beautiful princess of a daughter, to whom she is devoted. We see her as a figure of authority in the company deserving every ounce of our respect and love. Thank you, Sarita!
